Terms and Conditions
Lac & Cie — Valid from July 1, 2025
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all bookings and services of Lac & Cie, owner Lucas Bott, Wildbachstrasse 9, 8424 Embrach. By making a booking, the customer fully accepts these GTC.
2. Formation of Contract
A booking is considered binding as soon as Lac & Cie has sent a written confirmation by email. Inquiries without confirmation do not establish a claim to a service.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF), excluding fuel and skipper costs unless otherwise stated. The skipper will be charged an additional CHF 95 per hour. Fuel will be billed according to actual consumption. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer. For bookings over CHF 1,000, a 50% down payment is required.
4. Cancellation and Withdrawal

In case of cancellation by Lac & Cie due to force majeure or bad weather conditions, the full amount will be refunded or an alternative date offered.
5. Weather-Related Cancellation
Lac & Cie reserves the right to cancel trips in case of storms, thunderstorms, or official closure of the lake. In such cases, the full amount will be refunded or a new date will be arranged. Cancellation due to rain without a storm does not entitle the customer to a refund.
6. Customer's Obligations
The customer undertakes to:
— Arrive punctually at the agreed departure point
— Follow the skipper's instructions
— Not bring any dangerous or illegal substances on board
— Treat the yacht with care
— Present a valid Category A license for bareboat charter
7. Bareboat Charter — Additional Conditions
Bareboat charter requires a valid Swiss Category A license or equivalent foreign boat license. A deposit of CHF 1,500 will be blocked upon handover and released after undamaged return. In case of damage, the deposit will be used to cover repair costs.
8. Liability
Lac & Cie is not liable for damages caused by improper use, force majeure, or disregard of the skipper's instructions. Lac & Cie's liability is limited to the booking amount. All guests participate in the charter at their own risk.
9. Insurance
The yacht is fully comprehensive insured. The liability insurance covers damages to third parties. Guests' personal belongings are not insured.
10. Discretion
Lac & Cie commits to absolute discretion towards all customers. Upon request, a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be signed. Photos or videos of guests will not be published or shared without express consent.
11. Data Protection
The collection and processing of personal data are carried out in accordance with Lac & Cie's privacy policy and the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG).
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
13. Amendments to the GTC
Lac & Cie reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The current version can be viewed on the website.
